Is there really no charge for an estate library cleanout?
Yes. We pick up estate libraries at no cost, regardless of the size. No fees, no fuel charges, no minimums.
Can you handle a full house of books?
Yes. We regularly handle entire home libraries and multi-room collections. For very large jobs we schedule a multi-day pickup or bring a second vehicle.
I'm the executor — do you provide any paperwork?
Yes. We give you a written pickup confirmation with the date, address, and estimated number of boxes. If you need something specific for probate or estate records, tell us in advance and we can adjust the format.
What happens to the books after pickup?
Every book is sorted by hand. Books that can be resold or passed along to a new reader are prepared for that. Books that cannot be reused are recycled responsibly.
Do you handle out-of-state family situations?
Yes. We regularly work with heirs who live outside California. We coordinate over phone and email, and can pick up when nobody is home if a neighbor or realtor grants access.
How far ahead should I schedule an estate pickup?
For flexible timelines, one week's notice is plenty. If you're on a deadline (property closing, out-of-town family visit), reach out and we'll do our best to accommodate.
